Leaving Andaraí in the early morning hours, we embark on an adventure through little-explored trails toward one of the best-kept secrets of Chapada Diamantina: the Três Barras waterfalls on the Piabas River. The route combines stretches by car and light walking through cerrado landscapes and riparian forests, with stops to enjoy nature and cool off in crystal-clear pools along the way. Upon arriving at Três Barras, we are greeted by a set of small waterfalls and rapids that form natural pools perfect for bathing and relaxation.
